Bangladeshi of United States
The term "Bengali" can be used in different ways. It can refer to all speakers of the Bengali language, and it can refer to the peoples of Bangladesh and West Bengal, India. Or it may refer to one relatively small people group, named Bengali. The term likely includes a very diverse and perhaps a very large grouping of individuals, depending on how it is used.
Bengalis in the USA may very well have a protectionist mindset, not willing to open up to Christians around them.
American Christians need to seek out the Bengalis around them, finding ways to befriend them.
Pray for the followers of Jesus among the Bengalis in the USA, few in number. Pray the Lord will give them hearts to search for Christians in the communities where they live. May they be led to true followers of Christ, to help them grow.
Pray the Bengalis in the USA will be led into contact with true disciples of Jesus, and will be protected from nominal Christians who don't represent Christ well.
"The people who walk in darkness, will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them." Isaiah 9:2
