pronounced: YAH-dahv gwahl-BANS
The Gualbans are one of the Yadav communities who traditionally did cattle raising. They raised cattle, sold the milk, and were honored in this land where cattle were sacred. The Gualbans Yadavs still have fairly high status, and most own land. Some have been elected into public office.
Most Gualbans Yadavs live in Indian states where there are very few believers. Bihar, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat are not states where the gospel has flourished. Pray for believers from other states to go to them.
It will take believers from a similar status or a higher status to reach the Gualbans Yadavs. These are few and far between. However, they can tell Bible stories of people like Abraham, Moses, and others who dealt mainly with livestock. The stories of these patriarchs can lead to stories of Jesus.
Pray that soon there will be Gualbans Yadavs who embrace the gospel and share the ways of Jesus with others who will share Him with still others. * Pray that churches and believers will bless their entire people group in such a way that God's love will change the Gualbans Yadavs like yeast changes dough. * Pray for networks of believing families and fellowships that will throw the doors open for others to follow Jesus. * Pray for the Lord to bless the families among the Gualbans Yadavs with his presence and mercy.
"If therefore your whole body is full of light, with no dark part in it, it will be wholly illumined, as when the lamp illumines you with its rays.” Luke 11:36
